This Halloween our scarecrow returns to Romanby Green, Northallerton, as part of the award-winning Romanby WI Scarecrow Festival. Every festival our Lego-styled scarecrow sits front and center to spread some Halloween fun.
Residents and businesses are invited to make and display a scarecrow in the trail area. During the event members of the public can buy a trail map for £1. They explore the trail and use the voting slip to vote for their favourite scarecrow. The winners receive cash prizes, first place is £100.
We are always looking for ways to engage with the local community as well as advertise our business. It is a really fun event to be a part of.

The Scarecrow Trail takes place on Saturday and Sunday, October 28 and 29, maps, cakes, and crafts will be on sale at Romanby WI Hall 10 am – 4 pm both days.
